Riddles (Seeker Abilities):
Purchasing this skill with 10 MP will give you a +1 to your base % chance to know a riddle (see "Formula" for each Ridldle Difficulty Rating).
Maximum purchases ----- : 20.
Modification-Point Cost - : 10.
How Riddles Work:
Using the following information, the Game Master will set every Riddle's Difficulty Rating:
Riddle Difficulty Ratings: Formula (base % chance to know a riddle):
50-100 -- : Common:
Formula - : Wisdom = your base % chance to know it a riddle.
Legend -- : Fireside riddles you hear at an inn, or a campfire.
101-150 - : UnCommon:
Formula - : Wisdom ÷2 (round down) = your base % chance to know it a riddle.
Legend -- : Riddles discovered etched into a gravestone, or a tomb door.
151-200 - : Rare:
Formula - : Wisdom ÷4 (round down) = your base % chance to know it a riddle.
Legend -- : Riddle given by an enemy
A wise man offers you a quest, containing one or more riddles to help.
201+ ----- : Legendary:
Formula - : Wisdom ÷10 (round down) = your base % chance to know it a riddle
Legend -- : Sphinx, Jahtha, or a great being giving you a riddle.
Note:
Every time you spent 10 Modification-Points, you will gain a +1 added to your base % chance.
Example:
If the Game Master sets a Difficulty Rating of 90 on a riddle being asked, those who can attempt to answer the Riddle will roll their % dice. A roll of 90+ = Correct answer is known.
